Since I'll be teaching an acrylic painting class for teens in July, I thought I would post an acrylic painting. Flowers can be tricky enough to paint in oils but they can be even more difficult with the fast drying properties of acrylic. Using a combination of glazing and dry-brush techniques, I was able to create subtle value and temperature changes within the subject.
